Damages
Normal wear arising from ordinary use is not charged. Damage caused by a tenant or guest outside normal wear remains the responsibility of the tenant and may be charged accordingly.
Maintenance and repairs
Routine maintenance of fixtures and fittings is the landlord's responsibility. Any issue that requires repair should be reported promptly to the relevant Wilhelmina Estate representative or directly to the landlord.
Confirmation of reservation
A reservation becomes confirmed when the required payment has been received and the booking has been accepted.
Cancellation policy for short term rentals
For the public policy reflected by the current estate website, cancellation at least 30 days before check in is required for a full refund. A cancellation inside that period may result in the full rental amount being charged.

For long term rentals, the public policy reflected by the current estate website uses a 60 day cancellation threshold. Where cancellation occurs inside that period, up to two months of rent may be charged with any remaining refundable balance returned through the original payment method.
Subletting
Subletting the property while the tenant is not in residence is not permitted unless separately agreed in writing.
